About Deb Regan

I began studying nutrition more than two decades ago shortly after my children were born and my dad died young after a long battle with lung and brain cancer.

When I first started, I went from one "right" way of eating to the next. For example, I started eating low-fat: focusing just on the fat grams and not realizing that the quality of the fat made a big difference. After several twists and turns, I finally found whole food eating. That worked much better, but I still felt there was something more. I had read so much and studied so much over the years, but I still had significant gaps in my understanding of nutrition and healthy eating.

I realized I could not fill in the gaps on my own. I hired an amazing health coach, and she inspired me to become a health coach as well. I studied one hundred different dietary theories and a variety of practical coaching methods. The bottom line is that none of us is alike. Our digestive tract is like our own internal fingerprint. There is no one-size-fits-all diet!

My health coaching practice centers around helping my clients discover the food and lifestyle choices that best support them make sustainable lifelong changes and move toward living their best life.
